For the past several years, I have worked with International Volunteers in Urology (IVU) to treat less fortunate urologically needy patients in different parts of the world.
Specifically, I have been privileged to be part of urology camps in the Indian States of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. These have been in cities such as Udaipur, Ajmer, Beawar, as well as in Bhopal.
In February, I was back in Ajmer with approximately 15-20 patients being operated every day for various urologic problems. A week per year is not much to give back, but we are happy with the opportunity to treat needy patients. The photographs are just a sample of our experience.
